THE MILLENNIUM INSTITUTE OF SPORT & HEALTH

The Millennium Institute of Sport & Health is New Zealand's world class sports training facility.

The $32 million dollar Millennium Institute of Sport & Health is owned by a charitable trust and has been established to help New Zealanders excel in sport and to contribute to a healthier nation.

Its extensive facilities have been purpose built for the training and preparation of high performance athletes who have the support of on-site sports medicine and science services to help them achieve international success.

On a daily basis, the Millennium Institute is used as a primary training facility for a number of New Zealand's top Olympic athletes, sports teams and budding future world champions.

Through an ongoing relationship with the New Zealand Academy of Sport and the Elite Motorsport Academy, the Trainathon team all currently train regularly at the Millennium Institute under the guidance of their service providers.

The Millennium Institute of Sport & Health will provide the five Trainathon team members with the facilities to complete the 40 hour event with its gym, track, pool and medical facilities.
